IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks an experienced High Voltage Electrician to support mission-critical electrical infrastructure in Virginia and Maryland. The role requires installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage systems with strict safety compliance and security requirements.

Active Master or Journeyman Electrician license is required, along with 8+ years of relevant experience in government or industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a high-voltage electrician in industrial/government/mission-critical settings
• Active state-recognized Master or Journeyman Electrician license required
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E/OSHA and DoD/IC standards

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage systems (4,160V and above) including switchgear and transformers
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical electrical infrastructure
• Read and interpret complex electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics and manuals
• Conduct testing and diagnostics per NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, DoD/IC standards
• Support planned outages, outages, and restoration efforts with minimal impact
• Coordinate with engineers, facility managers, and security personnel in secure environments
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance reports
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, lockout/tagout, and arc flash requirements
• Provide technical guidance or mentorship to junior electricians
• Respond to after-hours or emergency calls as needed
