Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Software Engineer Full Stack to join a highly collaborative team building a cloud-based software planning system supporting a government mission. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering or software development experience.
• U.S. Citizenship with ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance.
• Strong experience with Java, TypeScript, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and integrating software systems.
• Familiarity with full-stack web application development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs and concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-organization engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain complex software applications and infrastructure
• Develop backend services, APIs, and frontend web applications
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions
• Build well-designed, maintainable, scalable, and extensible code
• Integrate software components and systems developed by multiple teams and organizations
• Develop and maintain technical and software design documentation
• Participate in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
• Work closely with a distributed engineering team, government stakeholders, and external development partners
• Communicate technical concepts and design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to the continued evolution and improvement of a sophisticated cloud-based software platform
