Job summary

STR is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver high-impact web applications for defense and intelligence missions. Hybrid role with 2 days in Woburn, MA or Arlington, VA office, building AI- and data-centric applications for complex mission workflows.

You will work across front-end and back-end, translating wireframes into production-ready interfaces, while collaborating with designers, program leads, and end users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications that are interactive, data-centric, and responsive across browsers and devices.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS and at least one of Flask, Django, Node, Vue.
• Ability to turn design direction into production UI with collaboration from designers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop on a new development effort through design, implementation, and demonstration.
• Design and implement APIs, application state, and back-end services for user-facing features.
• Design the interface layer to the back end, including GraphQL solutions.
• Work across the full request/response path from user interaction through service logic and data access.
• Integrate front-end with supporting services and containerized deployment where appropriate.
