Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC, in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Food Services General Manager to lead daily food service operations within a secure government environment. You will oversee quality, personnel, budgeting, inventory, safety, and compliance with contractual and security requirements.

You will manage a professional team, ensure service excellence, and align operations with mission needs while maintaining strict security standards and training compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, General Studies or an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts (extensive experience may substitute).
• Minimum of five (5) years in food service management or related field.
• Demonstrated supervision and operational management experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory control and cost management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Manage daily food service operations including preparation, meal service, catering, and events.
• Coordinate with site leadership, government reps, vendors, and stakeholders to meet needs.
• Develop and manage annual operating budget and report on finances.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and preventive repairs to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare for health inspections and contract compliance reviews; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure training on food safety, workplace safety, and security; maintain records.
• Develop SOPs for food handling, cash handling, and daily operations.
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and labor costs within budget.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and rotation of food and supplies to reduce waste.
• Plan and execute catering and special events for mission support.
• Develop contingency plans to maintain operations during emergencies.
