Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers. You will design fire protection and fire alarm systems, develop construction drawings in Revit or AutoCAD, and ensure code-compliant, safe, and reliable designs for complex environments.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in Fire Protection Engineering, 1–3 years of design experience, and strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field required.
1–3 years of fire protection design experience preferred.
Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD with understanding of codes and standards such as NFPA, IBC, IFC.

Responsibilities

Design fire protection and fire alarm systems for mission-critical facilities and data centers.
Create detailed construction drawings and technical documents in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Apply NFPA, IBC, IFC and related codes to ensure compliant designs.
Assist with system layouts, equipment selection, calculations, and analysis.
Coordinate fire protection designs with MEP, structural, and architectural teams.
Review drawings for clashes, constructability, and coordination issues.
Support submittals, RFIs, and construction-phase activities.
Participate in design reviews and QA/QC processes.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and project partners to meet deadlines.
