Job summary

CM Mission Critical Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Designer to develop fire protection system designs and construction documents for data center and mission-critical facilities. You will model and lay out sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, and fire alarm systems in Revit, coordinating with architectural, structural, and MEP teams to produce clash-free drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years of fire protection design experience
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoSPRINK, or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of NFPA and ICC codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Produce highly detailed construction drawings across disciplines
• Coordinate with internal team members to support project success
• Integrate into a highly technical team & consistently delivers high‑quality work
• Designs compliant & effective fire protection systems & fire alarm systems
• Assists with submittal reviews, RFIs, & construction‑phase documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned
