Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of fire protection design experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of fire protection and fire alarm design principles and codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection and fire alarm systems for mission-critical facilities, data centers, and complex buildings.
• Prepare detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Apply NFPA, IBC/IFC codes to ensure compliant designs.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines.
• Review drawings for conflicts and constructability.
• Support construction-phase activities (submittals, RFIs, documentation).
• Participate in design reviews and QA/QC to ensure complete deliverables.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to meet deadlines.
• Communicate updates and questions with internal teams and partners.
• Continue developing knowledge through mentorship and professional development.
• Perform additional engineering duties as needed.
