Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks an Automation Systems Technician (Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic) at Patrick Space Force Base to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronically controlled systems, supporting critical defense infrastructure.

The role includes preventive maintenance, guidance/training of lower-grade technicians, and ensuring safe, clean work environments across HVAC, boiler controls, and materials handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electronically controlled industrial systems.
• Knowledge of electronic theory, circuits, and technical data related to electronics trade.
• Experience with safety, environmental, and security regulations in electronics work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electronically controlled systems (HVAC, boiler controls, materials handling).
• Provide preventive maintenance and mentor/train lower-grade technicians.
