Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to support a national security project. You will develop and maintain custom applications and scripts across Linux-based systems, improve existing software solutions, and ensure architecture consistency.

Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential. Ideal candidates have TS/SCI with polygraph, 3+ years in Rust/Python, Docker, and Ansible, plus experience with Agile development and various IT platforms.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 3+ years of experience using Rust and/or Python to develop applications and services.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible).
• Experience implementing custom apps using Docker containers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or modify custom applications and scripts across multiple platforms.
• Maintain custom software applications and services.
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions.
• Maintain system architecture for versatility across platforms.
• Contribute to software configuration and documentation, build roadmaps.
• Attend meetings and reviews and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
