Job summary

IQ Sig in Alabama is seeking an Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Modeling & Simulation Specialist to support the Office of the Secretariat for Special Operations with operational and force structure analysis. You will collaborate with agile teams to develop MS&A solutions and craft executable scenarios in AFSIM for study analyses and decision support.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitive requirements.
Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/math or related field with 3+ years of analysis experience.
At least 1 year hands-on experience with modeling and simulation tools for engagement/mission studies.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Scripting or programming experience (Python/C++/R).
Experience using AFSIM to model systems, scenarios and behavior scripting.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Team-oriented mindset and collaboration in agile environments.

Responsibilities

Construct military models and entities of varying complexity in AFSIM.
Provide dynamic scripting techniques to produce modeled entity actions/interactions in AFSIM.
Create and enhance operational scenarios representing actions and interactions in AFSIM simulations.
Coordinate with team members to analyze studies, interpret AFSIM results, and present findings.
Collaborate with agile AFSIM software teams to build and improve MS&A solutions.
