Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AFSIM Integration Analyst to deliver advanced modeling and simulation analyses that directly support the Air Force acquisition community, building and evaluating high-fidelity mission-level simulations using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).

Collaborate with engineers, the intel community, and stakeholders to translate requirements into AFSIM models; perform post-processing and visualization to derive actionable insights

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in modeling and simulation or operations analysis.
• 1+ years of experience with AFSIM, including mission-level modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ability to interpret and model operational concepts, threat laydowns, and system characteristics from government documentation and SMEs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on objectives defined by the client.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional teams of engineers, intel community, and stakeholders to translate operational requirements and program objectives into informed AFSIM models.
• Perform post-processing and visualization of AFSIM simulation datasets to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and execute complex AFSIM-based platform performance and system-of-systems effectiveness.
• Apply Verification, Validation, and Accreditation ( VV&A ) processes to ensure the credibility and reliability of AFSIM models and results.
• Support documentation of models, scenarios, methodologies, and findings to facilitate knowledge transfer and program oversight.
• Stay current with AFSIM capabilities, DoD modeling and simulation best practices, and emerging operational concepts to deliver innovative analytical solutions.
