Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Interiors Architect/Interior Designer to lead interior design for data center and mission-critical facilities. You will plan, design, and document interior environments across office areas, control rooms, operations centers, and data center spaces.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture/Interior Design, 6+ years of professional experience, and Revit/BIM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in interior architecture/design.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
• Experience developing construction documents and technical detailing.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA, life safety, and FF&E specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts for data center projects from programming through construction administration.
• Develop space planning and interior design solutions for office, control room, and data center spaces.
• Prepare space plans, renderings, mood boards, and finish presentation materials.
• Coordinate finish selections and interior materials, wayfinding, and workplace standards.
• Mentor junior architects and designers while providing technical leadership.
