Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Interiors Architect/Interior Designer to lead interior design for data center and mission critical facilities. You will plan, design, and document interiors across office areas, control rooms, and data center spaces, coordinating with architecture, structural, MEP, and security teams.

The role requires a minimum of six years in interior architecture/design, strong Revit/BIM skills, and a solid grasp of codes, ADA, and FF&E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of professional interior architecture/interior design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
• Experience developing construction documents and technical detailing.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA, life safety and specs.
• FF&E specification and finish material selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts for data center and mission critical projects from programming through construction administration.
• Develop space plans and interior design solutions for office, control rooms, operations centers, and employee spaces within data center environments.
• Create space plans, renderings, mood boards, and finish presentation materials.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural construction documents and detailing.
• Select and specify FF&E; coordinate finish selections and workplace standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with engineering disciplines.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical leadership during project execution.
• Assist with proposal development and client relationships.
