Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our National Mission Critical team in Westmont, IL. You will oversee project administration, budgets, schedules, and coordination with owners, designers, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes preconstruction planning, QA/QC, and commissioning for data-center projects with travel as needed. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in commercial construction are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management/Science or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Mission Critical Data Center project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Procore, P6, and other PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned project team members and subcontractors.
• Cultivate and grow project owner relationships and relationships with all professional groups involved.
• Engagement in the project preconstruction process including developing bid procedures, bid reviews, vendor & subcontractor qualifications, estimating, and scheduling.
• Management of Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program and required commissioning processes.
• Proved leadership in construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions.
• Travel as needed for projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Lead Construction progress meetings.
• Oversee design development.
