Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and completion of commercial construction projects in the Austin area. You will oversee budgeting, bidding, cost control, and client relations through closeout to meet financial goals.

The role requires strong communication and budgeting skills, with experience in subcontracting, risk management, and vendor coordination. A bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture and 5+ years in commercial PM are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong work experience considered.
• 5+ years in construction project management, 2–3 years in commercial.
• Experience with commercial general contracting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, bidding, cost control across projects.
• Coordinate with trades, design teams, and clients.
• Prepare subcontracts and ensure insurance certificates are obtained.
• Monitor site progress with regular site visits.
• Support business development and client relations.
