Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and evaluate cloud security architectures for IC systems. You will work on documentation, validation, and accreditation processes to ensure IT systems meet IA and security requirements.

Requirements include 5+ years in cloud security, RMF, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Experience with Agile (Jira) and strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with leaders and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans
• 5+ years of experience with cloud security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using the Jira tracking tool
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience with Information Assurance and security requirements, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with Information Assurance and security requirements
• IAT II certification, such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC, or IAT III certification

Responsibilities

• Guide development of cloud security architectures for IC systems
• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems
• Assist in defining an organization’s state and risk thresholds and analyze information to assess compliance
• Codify strategic objectives into doctrine, policies, and procedures to meet defined objectives
• Evaluate software and systems to ensure information assurance best practices are followed
• Recommend tools and capabilities based on RMF knowledge for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
