Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure, cloud-based architectures for critical Air Force systems. You will evaluate RMF/NIST compliance, select and configure security tools, and mentor teams to strengthen cloud security across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will work with leadership to ensure information assurance requirements are met while advancing our cloud security capabilities and supporting warfighter missions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RMF/NIST evaluation and DevSecOps experience.
• Experience deploying or configuring government-approved cybersecurity tools and methods.
• Experience with automated security scanning and compliance in GitLab and with SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Trivy, KICS, Checkmarx).
• Experience with system hardening and secrets management for cloud-deployable systems and container images.
• Experience architecting network and data flow diagrams, PPSM documentation.
• Experience evaluating cloud services/tools for government use.
• IaC experience with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Secret clearance (required).
• Bachelor's degree in CS or Cybersecurity.
• IAT II certification such as Security+.

• Design and implement a secure cloud-based, mission-critical system for government use.
• Guide development of cloud-based security architectures for Air Force systems.
• Research and recommend tools and capabilities to address RMF with on-prem, cloud, and hybrid resources.
• Mentor tomorrow's cloud security experts and help transform warfighter systems with cloud technology.
