Job summary

GDIT in Quantico, VA is seeking a Cloud Architect to shape mission-critical government projects and lead cloud-based solutions. You will design secure, scalable cloud architectures and guide migration strategies, including DEVSECOP and CI/CD implementations.

You will build IaC with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible and ensure FedRAMP/NIST compliance. The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite in Quantico and 2 days remote. U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required and must be able to obtain TS/SCI post hire.
• 10+ years of cloud engineering/architecture experience.
• Cloud/Solutions Architect related certifications.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Work Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Quantico VA; 2 days remote.
• US Citizenship Required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, mission-aligned cloud architectures for government agencies.
• Lead cloud architecture and migration strategies including DEVSECOP and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Define cloud standards for high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance (FedRAMP/NIST).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud architecture with NCIS mission and goals.
