Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Cloud Architect for NCIS in Quantico, VA.

You will design secure, scalable cloud architectures and lead migration strategies, including DEVSECOP and CI/CD pipelines, to align with mission needs. You will build IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible; enforce cloud standards for high availability, DR, and security frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53); and optimize Azure costs while enabling AKS-based containers.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI post hire
• 10+ years of cloud engineering/architecture experience
• Cloud/Solutions Architect related certifications
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 years experience in lieu)
• US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with mission needs
• Lead cloud migration strategies including DEVSECOP and CI/CD pipelines
• Define and govern cloud architecture standards and frameworks
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible
• Ensure compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53; manage Azure cost optimization and AKS deployments
