Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Campus Manager to lead safety operations across all projects on a mission critical campus. This role requires on-site work and reports to the Senior Health and Safety Manager.

You will manage the campus safety team, coordinate with client and project leaders, and ensure adherence to safety programs, risk assessments, and incident response protocols throughout energization, commissioning, and turnover phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years of construction health and safety experience, including leadership of safety professionals and oversight of complex projects.
• Experience in mission critical, data center, industrial, or comparable construction environments.
• Working knowledge of construction safety regulations, electrical safety, hazardous energy control, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of HITT’s Health and Safety program, site-specific safety plans, and client requirements across the campus.
• Manage and mentor safety professionals, staffing, field coverage, training, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate outside safety consultants and support recruiting and retention efforts.
• Conduct inspections, evaluate subcontractor safety performance, address hazards and compliance concerns.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and OSHA or third-party inspections while following required protocols.
• Partner with project executives and superintendents to integrate safety into planning, scheduling, and logistics.
