Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking an Architectural Designer II to support project teams from early design through construction, under the guidance of experienced Architects. You will apply Revit workflows, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to Mission Critical projects while expanding your technical and design skills.

This hybrid role emphasizes attention to detail, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with disciplines. Candidates should hold a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (4-year) required; licensure preferred or pursuing licensure.
• Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of building codes.
• Experience in Mission Critical sector and design coordination with multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Architect to ensure design and technical quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and other consultants using Revizto.
• Support the delivery of professional services as defined by the HED Design Process guidelines.
• Assist the Project Architect with directing staff and developing strategies for project delivery.
• Understand the design intent and communicate it through documentation with limited direction.
• Assist with required code research for project assignments.
• Assist with materials and product research for project development.
• Participate in internal/external project meetings as required by scope and schedule.
• Coordinate with project team disciplines as needed by the project.
• Perform submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration.
• Mentor junior team members as you continue developing your own skills.
