Job summary

The City of Pompano Beach is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to lead development, deployment, and support of critical applications across Windows servers and client devices. You will collaborate with vendors, department leaders, and end users to deliver efficient, cost-effective technology solutions.

Required eight years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS or IT. Proficiency in PHP, SQL, and web applications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A comparable combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
• Eight (8) years of experience in programming, application software development, or a closely related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents, implements, maintains, and supports application software across Windows servers and workstations.
• Serves as lead analyst for assigned third-party, mission-critical application systems.
• Collaborates with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify technology needs and opportunities for process improvement.
• Troubleshoots application, software, system, and end-user issues and provides resolutions.
• Prepares written and oral reports to management regarding projects and system activities.
