Job summary

City of Coral Springs is seeking an Applications Analyst to oversee the reliability and integration of business applications. Under supervision of the Applications Manager, you will administer, troubleshoot, upgrade, and coordinate vendors while ensuring service outcomes and data integrity.

You will design and support data integrations, API implementations, and automated processes, while collaborating with multiple departments to streamline workflows and reduce manual data entry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS/CS/BA or related field.
• At least five years of enterprise application admin and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with data integrations, API implementation, and SQL queries.
• Experience working with software vendors to troubleshoot issues and coordinate upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, security, updates, and support of applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot daily issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with vendors.
• Investigate recurring issues and pursue long-term solutions to improve stability.
• Maintain application operations during upgrades, testing, and release reviews.
• Monitor system performance and support maintenance to reduce disruptions.
• Facilitate integration of software programs, APIs, and third-party solutions.
• Build and support automated data exchange and ETL processes, including API implementation.
• Ensure data accuracy through validation and routine data transfers.
• Analyze data across systems to support reporting, troubleshooting, and business needs.
