Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an AI Engineer to bring advanced AI capabilities into production systems, integrating models, inference endpoints, and agent‑orchestration frameworks in complex distributed software. You will shape multi‑agent architectures, RAG, and Knowledge Graph integrations to deliver mission‑ready AI solutions.

Role requires 3+ years building production‑grade software, DoD familiarity, and TS/SCI clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required; Master’s or DoD 8140 certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production software experience.
• Experience designing AI agent architectures.
• Experience building RAG with Knowledge Graphs and fine-tuning SLMs.
• Integrating LLMs and external APIs in production.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks and ReAct patterns in production.
• Knowledge of secure HTTP APIs, OAuth2, JWT and CI/CD.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
