Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a Mission Control I to support patient movement and supply logistics at Texas Health Alliance in Keller. You will transport patients, deliver equipment, monitor safety systems, and assist with inventory while upholding isolation precautions.

PRN role with rotating shifts, requiring a high school diploma, strong communication, and basic PC skills. Training and mentorship are provided within a collaborative hospital environment that values growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months related experience preferred.
  • 6 months customer service preferred.
  • BCLS certification prior to independent patient care.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Excellent verbal communication and professional attitude.
  • Basic Windows/PC knowledge.
  • Proactive problem solving and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
  • Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other items.
  • Maintain par levels and clean equipment in designated areas.
  • Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.
  • Monitor systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator and other systems.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of equipment; manage stock levels of supplies.
  • Assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture and supplies.
  • Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precautions.

Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
Experience
  • 6 Months Related Experience Preferred.
  • 6 Months Customer Service Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
Skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.

What You Will Do:
  • Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.

  • Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
  • Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.
  • Monitors systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.
  • Secures necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control.
  • Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
  • Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Assists patients in dressing appropriately for procedures.
  • Deliver patient concierge services.
