Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Trainer II to support Mission Command training at Fort Drum MTC. You will prepare and deliver curricula, lectures, and computer-based aids based on client specs, coordinating facilities and systems for planned events.

You will develop training methods, update training packages, and maintain SME certification while aligning with unit objectives and schedules. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
• Required Experience: Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of training program delivery.
• Security Clearance: Interim Secret to start, must obtain Secret.
• Required Skills and Ability: Expert knowledge of training methods; strong presentation and communication.
• Location: Fort Drum MTC; 0730-1630 with possible night/weekend shifts.
• Travel: Occasional travel less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and executes collective Mission Command training.
• Assists leadership in planning training to meet objectives and fills gaps.
• Updates training support packages and products.
• Maintains a repository of relevant TTPs.
• Develops training methods and materials per client specs.
• Participates in planning meetings to coordinate facilities and systems.
• Integrates LVCG+MC within training environments.
• Provides over the shoulder training and simulation support.
• Achieves SME certification and participates in special projects.
