The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is looking for two Mission Chaplains/Pastors to join our team. LVRM is a private, faith-based organization that serves our community by offering a safe place for men and women to break the cycle of homelessness and addiction. This position serves as a visible spiritual presence, offering compassionate care, biblical teaching, crisis support, and encouragement to individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and life transitions.
This is not a traditional church pastor position. There is not a congregation as the Chaplain/ Pastor will work with residents in our Lighthouse Recovery Program, Shelter of Hope guests, staff, volunteers, and others connected to the life and ministry of the Mission.
We’re looking for someone who is biblically grounded, compassionate, emotionally steady, recovery-aware, and able to shepherd people in difficult and complex life situations. This person must be able to offer pastoral care without enabling, teach Scripture clearly, work well with a team, and faithfully represent the Christian identity and values of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
The Chaplain/Pastor will be working with vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homelessness, addiction, trauma victims, those living with communicable diseases, and mental health. We also support populations such as Veterans, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and immigrants.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, offering a competitive benefit package and paid vacation. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
