Job summary

HANA TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS is seeking a Program Manager to lead human-centered design, research, communications, and implementation for the Hana Defense Solutions team serving DoW and federal clients in the DC area. You will manage cross-functional teams, guide strategy and delivery, and maintain client relationships to keep contracts moving forward.

The role emphasizes executive-level communication, risk and backlog oversight, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Human-Centered Design, or related field.
• 5+ years experience with DoW, federal clients, or mission-critical organizations.
• 2+ years managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering human-centered design solutions with user research.
• Knowledge of DoW contracting and budget execution.
• Ability to travel for in-person sessions with clients.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams and manage workstreams, risks, and deliverables.
• Serve as customer point of contact and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee full project lifecycle from vision to adoption.
• Prepare client briefs, progress reports, and leadership summaries.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and sessions.
• Mentor project team members to improve delivery quality.
• Identify opportunities to extend current contracts and pursue new business.
