Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Project/Task Manager to oversee complex programs and bridge on-site customer operations with off-site execution. You will ensure clear communication, document control, and alignment across secure and unclassified environments in Reston, VA.

The role requires 5+ years of project management experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. PMP preferred; on-site travel within the DC metro may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site liaison between client stakeholders and the PMO.
• Manage secure document and data transfers across classified networks with compliance and integrity.
• Handle formal customer correspondence over secure networks following security protocols.
• Support meetings by documenting requirements, minutes, and action items to closure.
• Coordinate schedules, calendars, and resources across multiple teams and time zones.
• Oversee account access requests, credentialing workflows, ticket submissions, and onboarding support.
• Coordinate on-site meeting logistics including visitor access and remote participation.
• Identify workflow gaps and propose scalable process improvements.
• Track milestones, releases, deadlines, and acquisition requirements for teams.
