Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to craft training for national security needs at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. The role centers on learner-focused design with SMEs, ADDIE-based development, and multimedia collaboration to deliver effective courseware.

You will lead the creation of synchronous/asynchronous training, align content with military requirements, and continuously improve learning solutions while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with instructional design or curriculum development
• Experience collaborating with and coordinating the efforts of military SMEs throughout the courseware development process
• Experience writing or developing instructional content for military clients
• Experience using MS Word and MS PowerPoint to develop lesson guides and instructor-based training courseware
• Ability to create new or improved instructional products or learning solutions with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage project deliverables, including timelines, milestones, and on-time delivery with limited guidance
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design synchronous, asynchronous, and performance support tools with SMEs
• Follow ADDIE model to build training material with multimedia specialists and instructors
• Develop engaging, interactive learning experiences on screen or in a classroom
• Incorporate feedback from SMEs and instructors to improve training effectiveness
