Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to craft learner-centered training for national security missions. You will collaborate with military SMEs, design end-to-end learning solutions, and guide classroom and online delivery from analysis to evaluation.

You will lead the ADDIE-based design process, develop multimedia-enabled content, and iterate using feedback to maximize impact while maintaining schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of instructional design or curriculum development experience.
• Experience coordinating military SMEs throughout courseware development.
• Experience writing or developing instructional content for military clients.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS PowerPoint to develop lesson guides and instructor-based training courseware.
• Ability to create new or improved instructional products or learning solutions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage project deliverables, including timelines, milestones, and on-time delivery with limited guidance.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to capture training needs and advise on learning solutions.
• Design synchronous, asynchronous, and performance support tools following the ADDIE model.
• Develop engaging training material with multimedia specialists and instructors.
• Incorporate feedback from SMEs and instructors throughout the process.
• Evaluate training using Kirkpatrick Model and refine for impact.
• Provide leadership and mentorship, and identify new opportunities to build learning solutions.
