Job summary

Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain secure hybrid-cloud capabilities for DoW mission environments.

You will architect platform services across compute, storage, networking, identity, and containers, building IaC pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, and Python to enable repeatable, secure deployments while collaborating with cybersecurity and mission teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience; 6+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider; preferably both Azure and AWS.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, networking, Linux/Windows admin, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD, source control, and configuration management.
• Understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and systems-integration skills in complex environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, leadership, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate hybrid-cloud platforms spanning on-premises data centers and cloud environments.
• Design and implement platform services for compute, storage, networking, identity, containerization, observability, backup, DR, and config management.
• Build infrastructure-as-code and configuration automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools.
• Develop standardized, reusable landing-zone and platform patterns for consistent deployment across mission environments.
• Integrate cloud platforms with enterprise identity, PKI, DNS, logging, SIEM, vulnerability management, and other DoW services.
• Support containerized and Kubernetes workloads; manage cluster config, ingress, storage, networking, secrets, lifecycle.
