Job summary

Talon Defense, Inc. is seeking an Android Developer to join our team to solve real-time cyber challenges. You will design custom software tools for Android, own end-to-end design, and mentor junior developers to achieve mission objectives.

Responsibilities include end-to-end software development, debugging, and producing documentation while collaborating with end users. A TS clearance is required; the company offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, testing, and debugging Python and C.
• UNIX applications using makefiles or equivalent build envs on mission platforms.
• Experience programming CNO tools and techniques.
• Network sockets programming; IP/TCP knowledge.
• Reverse engineering native binaries.
• Understanding of Unix kernel internals and OS protections.
• Experience with Git and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design Android platform software tools and techniques.
• Own end-to-end design and development of custom software.
• Diagnose and debug issues using COTS and GOTS tools.
• Apply understanding of networks in development.
• Develop documentation for operating and supporting software.
