Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Mission Assurance Manager 2 for the Rolling Meadows, IL site within the Electronic Warfare Systems unit. You will lead a Mission Assurance/Quality Engineering team, partner with PM, Systems Eng, Design Eng, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify design maturities and mitigate risks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of QA/MA experience, active Secret Clearance, and strong root cause/problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 8 years in quality/mission assurance.
2+ years of experience leading teams or programs.
Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action.
Familiarity with AS9100, AS9145, AS9102.
Knowledge of FAR & DFAR requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a Mission Assurance/Quality Engineering team.
Collaborate with Program Management, Systems Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customers.
Develop and execute program quality plans tailored to program phase and risk profile.
Routinely brief senior leadership on complex quality and operational issues.
Ensure Quality/Mission Assurance, Manufacturing, and Engineering processes meet industry standards (AS9102, AS9145, AS9100).
Drive continuous improvement and robust root cause corrective actions.
