Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mission Assurance and Launch Operations Engineering Leader to advise the SBI Program Office and oversee mission assurance across design, production, testing and launch campaigns.
The ideal candidate has 12+ years in launch vehicles or mission assurance, a Top Secret/SCI clearance, and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across locations; travel about 25% will be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, physics, math, or related discipline.
- 8+ years in launch vehicles, missile systems, or mission assurance.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance (US citizenship required).
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across locations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SBI program office to provide agile mission assurance for design, production, testing, and launch.
- Assemble teams of Aerospace subject matter experts to support mission assurance launch operations.
- Travel to vendor facilities and space ports for evaluation and support.
- Develop, coordinate, execute, and approve technical assessments and analyses.
- Ensure SBI launch campaigns are successful.
