Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Space-Based Interceptor Test Integration and Operations Engineering Lead to advise SBI program development and guide end-to-end mission testing. The role is on-site in Huntsville, AL, and requires TS/SCI clearance eligibility with DoD-space program experience.

Lead integration across space, ground, and user segments; develop verification plans; manage risk; and implement Agile/DevSecOps practices to ensure mission success and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in Test & Evaluation or related space systems roles.
• Familiarity with DoDI 5000-series and test strategies.
• Experience with space systems, ground systems, and integration.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems integration and test activities across space, ground, and user segments.
• Develop and execute verification procedures for critical interfaces.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary integration with spacecraft, software, and operations teams.
• Execute developmental and operational tests; analyze results and advise leadership.
• Support Agile/DevSecOps practices for space-to-ground system integration.
