Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review supplier and internal engineering designs, manufacturing and test docs with focus on material safety and reliability.
• Identify appropriate, reliable parts for mission designs with program teams.
• Apply understanding of EEE standards in selection/evaluation of space-qualified parts.
• Identify risks; recommend corrective actions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support Failure Review Board, Corrective Action Board, and PMPCB activities.
• Support analysis and testing of material/part qualification for space environment.
• Provide expertise on destructive and non-destructive test methodologies and interpretation of results.
• Evaluate defective components and failure reports to support engineering teams.
