Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems is seeking a Space Mission Assurance Manager to lead mission assurance across radiation, survivability, reliability, PMP, and safety for Space Division programs. You will coordinate with engineering, program management, operations, and customers to meet mission objectives throughout design, test, launch, and on-orbit operations.

Qualifications

Typically requires 11+ years of progressively complex engineering experience; advanced degrees may substitute for experience.
Proven ability to resolve complex management and technical problems with strong leadership.
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
A PE license and published work are desirable.
Customer focus with willingness to travel and work extended hours.
Ability to obtain DoD clearance; TS-SCI is desired.

Responsibilities

Lead mission assurance across radiation, survivability, reliability, PMP, and safety.
Develop and maintain mission assurance plans, standards, and procedures.
Interface with program managers, chief engineers, and customers on status and risks.
Perform risk assessments, design reviews, and requirement verification.
Drive root cause analysis and lessons learned across programs.
Support proposal efforts with mission assurance approaches and estimates.
