Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Systems Analysis Engineer to apply modeling, simulation, and mission analysis to complex defense and national security challenges. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to evaluate performance, risks, and trade spaces from concept through implementation.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in systems analysis, experience with MBSE tools (SysML) and MATLAB/Simulink, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years experience in systems analysis.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as SysML; MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience integrating descriptive modeling tools with other simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis approaches for a particular problem and independently execute assignments.
• Independently execute system engineering lifecycle assignments; concept and architecture design, integration, testing and operation.
• Contribute high quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
• Proactively identify needs and concerns associated with design decisions and communicate them to project leadership.
• Contribute to updates of best practices and processes to reflect current tools and procedures.
