Job summary

Draper is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Cambridge, MA to apply systems thinking, MBSE, and modeling to address complex, enterprise-level problems across Navy, Air Force, and DoD domains.

The role emphasizes multidisciplinary modeling, simulation, software integration, and advanced algorithms, with opportunities to mentor others and lead small teams. A U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and interest in interdisciplinary work spanning Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, Trade Space Exploration (TSE), Machine Learning and Data Engineering
• Experience with methodologies for analysis of alternatives under uncertainty
• Experience with tools such as MagicDraw, DOORs, MATLAB/Simulink, Python
• Experience in data visualization and story boarding
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and ability to structure highly complex problems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
