Job summary

ROI Services LLC seeks a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to support DoD mission equipment design, development, and prototyping at the Government's Prototype Integration Facility in Huntsville. The role focuses on hands-on design, GD&T, 3D CAD modeling, and collaboration with machinists and other disciplines for rapid prototyping.

The position requires full-time on-site work with a clear emphasis on detailed drawings, documentation, and integration across teams to mature concepts into producible

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 3-6 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience developing mechanical designs for DoD systems, platforms, or equipment.
• Experience using 3D CAD modeling software.
• Experience developing engineering drawings and documentation for fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for DoD systems, subsystems, assemblies, and equipment.
• Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Develop Technical Data Packages (TDPs) with BOMs and specs.
• Support prototype fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams.
• Provide responsive engineering support during prototype build.
