deciBel Research, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to Ground Missile Defense (GMD) systems. The position involves processing sensor data, planning defensive solutions, and supporting intercept missions with robust electrical designs.

You will engage in electrical/power system design, cable harness work, and load analyses, leveraging CAD tools and PLM systems, while traveling up to 10% as needed and maintaining a DoD Secret clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university.
• 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 0 years of related experience, or 0 years with a PhD.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of application.
• Must be able to work in an in-office/closed-area environment full-time.
• Experience with CAD packages for electrical drawings (Visio, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CREO, Siemens Capital Suites, or NX).
• Experience in electrical/power system design, network design, cable harness fabrication design, and electrical load analysis.
• Experience with engineering PLM systems such as Teamcenter and SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Develop technical drawings and schematics using CAD tools.
• Analyze electrical power and signal pathways for missile defense hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant designs.
• Prepare documentation such as Interface Control Documents and Requirements Specifications.
• Support design reviews and trade studies with data-driven analyses.
