Job summary

JRC Integrated Systems is seeking a Missile Integration Engineer to join the Missiles & Space Team in the DoD-focused environment. You will adapt flight vehicles for submarine operation, define interfaces, mature flight-vehicle simulators for HWIL/SWIL testing, and ensure the integrated system processes a valid flight profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related).
• 7+ years of defense-related systems engineering experience on missile or aerospace MDAPs.
• 2+ years of experience with Naval shipboard systems or mission planning.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or recently held) with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex topics to non-technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a critical technical contributor reporting to the LOC Missile System Integration Section Head on interface design between the flight vehicle and the submarine.
• Support system integration across flight vehicle, control, fire control, and launch subsystems.
• Oversee development of flight vehicle simulators including high fidelity guidance test sets (GTS).
• Lead liaison between the flight vehicle and shipboard branches.
• Support MBSE, digital thread/twin management, and configuration control.
• Ensure design integrity via requirements traceability, verification, and validation.
