Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Mid-Level Simulation Engineer to develop and maintain high-fidelity models and simulations for missile systems, supporting integration onto new launch platforms and performance assessments.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5–12 years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance; MATLAB, C++, and Python are preferred skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–12 years of related technical experience.
• Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Experience with GNC, Radar Sensors, or weapon performance modeling preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB, C++, and Python preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine system simulations, which include physics-based models.
• Perform simulation-based performance analysis to support software updates and system improvements.
• Analyze flight test data to verify and improve simulation accuracy.
• Support studies to assess operational effectiveness of weapon systems.
• Work with missile software and platform integration teams to ensure simulations reflect missile system of systems realities.
• Generate briefings and technical reports to communicate system effectiveness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
