Job summary

Canvas in Huntsville, AL seeks a Missile Defense Architecture Analyst to join the Architecture Engineering team. You will support MDA operations, perform architecture modeling, and develop MATLAB/Python tools for performance analyses.

The role requires 7+ years in missile defense or similar DoD programs and an ability to obtain an active Secret clearance. The team focuses on advancing future missile defense architectures and seamless system integration to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working on missile defense-related or complex DoD programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (engineering, physics or math).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; US citizenship and active clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to MDA on architecture, testing analyses, and modeling.
• Support development of Benchmark-based performance analyses and future architecture laydowns.
• Develop analysis scripts in MATLAB/Python for trade studies and concept exploration.
• Run the Benchmark tool to predict architecture performance against future threat environments.
