Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Intermediate Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to lead analysis of current and future MDS architectures and to develop and adapt M&S tools to support architecture assessment. The role emphasizes clear communication of findings and collaboration across teams.

You will assess capability gaps, develop analysis plans, run simulations, and post-process results to produce briefs and reports for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
• 7+ years of missile defense-related or large DoD program experience.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Strong ability to interpret results and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures.
• Develop analysis plans and run MDS simulations to assess architecture options.
• Tailor modeling tools to match analysis needs and communicate results clearly.
