Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Principal Missile Defense Architecture Engineer/Analyst to lead and participate in analyses of future Missile Defense System architectures and related modeling & simulation tool development in Virginia.

The successful candidate will assess capability gaps, develop architecture solutions, and produce briefs and reports that clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Active clearance and strong collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 12+ years in missile defense or equivalent DoD program
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Solid understanding of current MDS architecture and future concepts
• Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future MDS architectures
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaboration with others to achieve objectives
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps and develop architecture solutions
• Develop analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process results, and prepare briefs/reports
• Support modeling and simulation efforts and tailor tools to analysis plans
