Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting advanced electrical hardware for Missile Defense programs.

You will oversee a cross-functional group of engineers, guide architecture development, perform design verification, and ensure hardware integration across the lifecycle while meeting schedule and mission goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Project Technical Leadership or formal Management experience throughout the engineering life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience in high-reliability electronics hardware development and/or test experience.
• Demonstrated experience with electronics products sustainment, production or development.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and day to day tasking for a group of Electrical Hardware Design Engineers as well as support their professional development.
• Ensuring Manufacturing support and troubleshooting that supports program schedules.
• Experience and expertise with full product life cycle. Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications.
• Provide Avionics and Electrical system architecture development
• Design/Capture electrical schematics and guide the board layouts.
• Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.
