Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electronics Engineering Associate Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting the Strategic Reentry Programs. You will guide design, integration, and testing of mission-critical electronic subsystems for safe, reliable flight operations while mentoring engineers and shaping technical roadmaps.

The role blends hands-on engineering with people management; you will manage a 10–12 person electronics group, interact with software, mechanical, and launch operations,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electronics engineering experience with flight hardware designs.
• Leadership and people management experience supervising engineers.
• Program level understanding with aerospace life cycles and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Mentorship orientation to coach junior staff and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics design, analysis, and/or test efforts as part of the technical role.
• Mentor and manage the electronics engineering team through performance reviews and engagement.
• Serve as primary technical liaison between electronics and other groups such as software, mechanical, propulsion, and launch operations.
• Report status and performance metrics to senior leadership with data-driven updates on schedule, cost, and health.
