Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Courtland, Alabama seeks a strategic Missile Assembly, Integration and Test Director to lead AI&T operations, drive production readiness, and align resources with programs while ensuring safety and compliance.

This role requires strong business acumen, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and ability to balance execution with long-term objectives across manufacturing, engineering, planning and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in leadership within a production environment.
• Extensive experience with manufacturing and test concepts, systems, and methods.
• Experience managing production performance, metrics, workforce engagement and employee relations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills while managing a varied workforce (exempt and non-exempt).
• Commitment to environmental, health and safety excellence in manufacturing/operations.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a US Top Secret clearance; Interim Secret to start.

Responsibilities

• Interface daily with customers and program reps and lead cross-functional AI&T integration in Courtland.
• Accountable for overall Courtland AI&T business performance including workforce, investments, planning, cost, schedule, quality and safety.
• Drive vision and objectives for manufacturing readiness for existing ramps and new programs.
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance, risk identification and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate among programs for shared AI&T resources to optimize enterprise commitments.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, visual management and productivity initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction.
• Manage multiple manufacturing functions and oversee recruitment, training, performance and rewards.
